Solarex 2023 - SolaX Amazing Products Impressed in Turkiye
On April 6-8, SolaX attended Solarex 2023-Turkiye's first and only solar energy-themed expo- is a fair which provides a chance for Turkiye to take important steps in the direction of being a production center in the field of solar energy.
Turkey has excellent solar energy potential due to its geographic location, with a total annual solar irradiation time of 2,741 hours (7.5 hours per day). To tap this natural resource, the Turkish government has developed several policies and programs to increase its share of the renewable energy mix. In 2021, the renewable energy generation in Turkey was 62.7 TWh, an increase of 22% from the previous year. In recent years, the increased solar energy generation resulted in a rise in total renewable energy generation in the country.
In 2023, the National Energy Plan announced by the government projected solar energy capacity to reach 2.9 gigawatts with an increase of approximately 500% by 2035, which is deemed to have the highest share in total installed generation capacity. The National Energy plan envisages achieving 100% clean electricity by 2035.
The fair is comprised of various different activities, which visitors will participate in, as well as symposiums and firm conferences. The sector's leading organizations are illuminating the sector with seminars during the fair, where seminars are conducted especially in the field of financing, investment, and production.
All the members of the sector come together at the fair, where world solar energy CEOs, senior managers, purchasing directors, manufacturers, consumers, academicians, students, and domestic and foreign representatives of the solar energy sector take part.
The latest products from SolaX, X1-BOOST G4, and X1-MINI G4, were the star attractions at the SolaX Booth. For higher yield efficiency, X1-BOOST G4 has two MPPT channels with a voltage range of 40-560V. As for X1-MINI G4, it is lighter and more compact given its 5.2kg weight, making it probably the lightest product in its power segment available on the market today. Both X1-BOOST G4 and X1-MINI G4 have a built-in global MPP scan and support 200% oversizing DC input, which is highly adaptable to the high-power modules in the current market.
The energy storage system formed by X3-Hybrid inverter and T-BAT H5.8 makes it possible to generate electricity from solar energy for home consumption during the day and charge the batteries with free, clean solar energy when the background load is satisfied. In the evening, when the sun has set, the stored energy will be discharged and the batteries will be charged at a cheaper tariff.
